An off-season on the brink.

Posted by dlovell | 10/12/07

I can't say it's been the best week ever.

To begin with, the batting cages I frequent have closed for the winter. Sunday was my last trip until spring. I guess it's cold now, and baseball season's over, so it makes sense. But that doesn't mean I have to be happy about it.

And then, of course, there's the Yankees.

Luckily you won't be reading much more about them from me for awhile. After losing the first two games (well, losing the first game and not winning the second), the Yanks looked like they were back in the series. A decisive win in game 3 and a game 4 scheduled against the very hittable Paul Byrd? That means game 5 for sure...
