I think I've said a billion times that one of the most frustrating aspects of living in Central New York is knowing that there's so much here to be proud of, yet so few of us take the time to brag about it. Many of us don't bother looking around enough to find the true greatness of our area.

For a while now, Timothy Daniel has been living in his own place in the Baldwinsville area, and working at a local arts venue. He comes to us by way of San Francisco, where his art first bloomed.

Tim's a singer/songwriter who doesn't fit into an easy categorization. That doesn't mean his music is bizarre; it just means that calling it "pop" wouldn't be quite fair.

See, Tim's music is a little smarter than most pop music...

Daniel Lovell, New Media Director for Eagle Newspapers, has won more than two dozen awards for his columns, editorials and investigative journalism. He is actively addicted to the Internet, soda and New York Yankees baseball.
