Mar 31 Bridging The Abyssjbrenneman, Outbursts The road to the White House has never been easy (except if your initials start with George and end with Bush!) So it was to be expected that Barrack Obama would face his share of obsticles. The one challenge I don't think he was prepared for is the charge of being to good to be true. The harsh reality is that as a nation we are by nature a cynical bunch. Although some of us would love to buy into the hype and take Obama at his word there is still a nagging sense that something doesn't quit fit. I think it's healthy to question instead of mindlessly following but just once I would like to see someone with leadership potential deliver more than a nice stage show.
