Shakespeare in the Park returns this year to the Sylven Theatre at Thornden Park with "Much Ado About Nothing," a comedy about love and deception featuring Kate Fahey as Beatrice and Mark Weatherup as Benedick.
The festival has added Renaissance games, English country-dance, craft and food vendors and music groups and a kids' area.
Stop by Gannon's Isle before or after the show for a taste of the new flavor, Much Ado, rumored to be sweet and salty.
Parking is free for all shows and a shuttle bus is available for weekend shows.
