Community Wesleyan Church in Baldwinsville invites families to its annual Easter Eggstravaganza held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday April 11.

Kids of all ages, parents and grandparents can enjoy interactive discovery stations that use hands-on participation to share the real story of Easter. Kids can make crafts, have their faces painted, watch a movie, hear an eggstra special Easter story, enjoy a snack and more at their own pace throughout the morning. An egg hunt will take place just before noon to wrap up the event.

"We invite all families to come out for this free event," said coordinator Kim Rice. "There will be fun for all ages, and being the day before Easter, it's a great time to reinforce the real message of Easter: Christ's love and sacrifice. We all enjoy candy and Easter eggs. Those things are fun. But we want to go beyond that to celebrate the deeper meaning of Easter."

Community Wesleyan Church is located at 112 Downer St. in the village. Parking is available off Frawley Drive or Ford Street. For more information, call 638-2222 or visit communitywesleyanchurch.com.
