 5 images in the Skaneateles FD celebrates anniversaries album. Everyday, members of the Skaneateles Fire Department come to the aid of community members in need of help or assistance in one form or another.
But before the days of self-contained breathing apparatus — or SCBA — there were firefighters who responded to calls without air packs and fires that are now considered historic.
