The Skaneateles Country Club was the sight of a very special event Tuesday May 5.
The Monday Evening Club gathered for their regular dinner and meeting, but there were balloons this time.
Banquet chair Nancy Easter said it seems like every year the club gathers for its final dinner before the summer and it falls just a couple weeks shy of member Mary Simpson’s birthday. This year was a year for large celebration, though, as Simpson will be celebrating her 100th birthday on May 17. Many of Eagle's staff photo reprints are available here.
