Big fun at Gillie Lake in store for Saturday

Carol Baldwin Beach Days will be held in collaboration this year with the town of Camillus 4th of July celebration. The dual event will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday June 27 at Veteran’s Memorial Park at Gillie Lake.
As part of the Carol Baldwin Beach Days event, there will be food vendors, games, inflatable children’s rides, raffles and a classic car show. All proceeds for this event will go towards breast cancer research in Central New York.
Beginning at 7:30 p.m., coinciding with Beach Days, the town of Camillus 4th of July celebration will begin. From 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., the Billionaires will take the concert stage and perform upbeat and fun hits of today and yesterday. Soon after the conclusion of the performance, the night will end with a fabulous fireworks show brought to you by the Honeywell Corporation. This show, one of the finest in Central New York, will conclude an end to a wonderful day.
Admission and parking to the event are free. There will be small fees associated with the Beach Days activities. For additional information, please contact the Camillus Parks and Recreation Department at 487-3600.
