08/30/10The Red Door Bed & Breakfast on Lincklaen Street got a call Saturday night, Aug. 28, that a traveller needed a place to stay. But Matt and Patti Smith, who own the bed and breakfast, got more than they bargained for.
"He pulls in the yard with this thing… it was just fascinating to watch," said Patti. "It was just the quietest thing I’ve ever seen."
Marc Muller, the visitor, was driving his experimental solar car. His stopover in Cazenovia was part of a journey around the world in the tiny vehicle. Muller is part of the ICARE Project, an experiment in green-energy powered transportation.
