From May 24 until June 6, the New York State Governor's Traffic Safety Council has instituted a seat belt campaign to make drivers aware about buckling up. Buckle Up New York “Click it or ticket” patrols will be out during this time to issue tickets if you do not have your seatbelt on.
Also, the parking ticket amnesty ends June 1. Outstanding parking ticket fines will be doubled if not paid by May 31. Please check iparkapp.com to run your current or past plate numbers to see if you have any outstanding parking tickets. Any questions, please contact the police department at 685-3456.

The parking ticket payment amnesty program is about to expire. Anyone who has outstanding parking tickets has until May 31 to pay the face value of those tickets. After May 31, the fines are doubled and vehicles are subject to impoundment. You can check to see if you have any outstanding parking tickets on iparkapp.com by typing in your plate number. Don’t forget to check past registrations, also. Any questions, you can contact the village office at 685-3440 or the village police department at 685-3456.
