In the past two weeks I have had a 100 pound python draped across my shoulders and had a 4 foot long monitor lizard cling to me like a long lost relative. I have pushed a pig named Spam down Salina Street in a grocery cart during the St. Patrick’s Day parade and waved to the crowd like the pig was my own.
I have photographed high school basketball playoffs and declined to publish the best photo I took. I spent half an hour trying to photograph a woodpecker that I could hear but not see, and I was able to photograph a mourning dove that has returned for the second year to nest on my window ledge. I have photographed a cluster of three roses that I have photographed every month since they bloomed in September...
